Canon error E000514-0000, nothing happens when i turn off and on again can I rest it myself... and how

This canon printer error code 5B00 indicates that the used ink counter must be reset and that your absorber pads must be replaced.
Step 1: Turn off your canon printer
Steps 2:
Press and keep the stop/reset button down.
Step 3:
Press your stop/reset button on while you're keeping the stop/reset down. This will turn the printer on and off again.
Step 4:
Turn the stop/reset button off and press it again 2 times in a row, with light, tapping motions. Don't forget to keep the on/off button pressed while doing this.
Step 5:
Let turn all the keys you were pressing down and wait until rest be on your screen.
Step 6:
Press the stop/reset button again for 5 times and then touch the on/off button two times fast.

Hi Nolan,
Error code 5200 indicates that print head temperature error occurs. This error usually occurs in case of ink low or third party or refill ink usage.

I have read quite a lot about this infamous Error 99 on the Internet. Rather than try to summarise or duplicate the information here, I'm going to point you to someone who's already done just that, from bitter experience, I think! I read on a forum that you can reset the shutter by gently hitting the camera at the bottom with the heel of your hand. This does actually work for me whereas the removal of the battery etc. as advised by Canon didn't do anything.
I have had the problem for a few days now, occurring about once a day. These few days have been quite heavy shooting days, about 500 shots a day. It seems to happen more or less first thing in the morning and, once I have freed it by the method above, it behaves for the rest of the day. However I feel that it will probably get worse and fail altogether eventually so I am still looking for a better solution.

EOOO is a thermistor-fuser error. Your machine will need a fuser, but on occasion a power surge can trip the error, E000 needs a code to reset it, I dont know if same but this is the code on a IR 330s
Press the userbutton then press "2" & "8" at the same time and then press userbutton again.
You will now enter servicemode

press " Copier "
press "function"
press "Clear"
press "Error"

leave servicemode by pressing resetbutton twice.

restart machine.

Mind you it is only a reset, if fault still exist it will go eooo again confirming that it needs a new fuser unit.
