Green light on USB for wireless mouse not constant/working
USB for wireless mouse is not working, green light is not constant/flickering on USB device hence mouse is not working. Wondering if connection seems to be the problem or if can be fixed easily.
Look on the mouse itself or on the USB stick and see if there is a small button. Press the button once and see if the mouse respondes. If not push it again until the mouse starts towork. This will match or pair the USB reciever to the mouse.

you might also want to try pressing the conect button on the mouse as well as on the usb... do this at the same time... aslo make shur that your not using the mouse on a flat sheen surface... try using paper or somthing
Why don't you try at the moment of placing a new battery to see if the small button that protrudes, where the receiver is located at the bottom of the mouse is pressed down. Without the receiver in place that **** on must be out for as long as the receiver is in the USB port.
Good luck!!!
Chawah.
I had a similar freezing problem with a wireless Logitech mouse and also a problem with the wireless keyboard, sometimes keystrokes would not register and sometimes they'd repeat a dozen times. I was not able to fix the problem, so I got a Microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard, hoping it was a driver conflict that wouldn't affect both products. Wrong. The exact same thing happened to the Microsoft mouse and keyboard. The cause of the problem turned out be that I had the receiver plugged into a USB hub along with several other devices. Moving the receiver to one of the USB ports in the back of the PC fixed the problem. Apparently these wireless desktop devices don't like sharing USB resources with anything else.
Try to replace the batteries in it. It may be acting strange due to low batteries. If this does not help you try testing out on another system and post results.
After reading on Microsoft about replacing the batteries, down loading drivers and "press the button on the receiver and the
connect button the receiver" - I got frustrated and almost gave it flight. Then my wife stepped in
and realized that there was a green reset button on the USB connector as well.
(who knew?) SO.... you press the green light (which is a button) and release it....
should blink. Then go to THE MOUSE portion and press the connect button
for 5 seconds or so.... and wala...... One mouse that plays again! This ones gonna cost me! :) I hope this one works for ya!
