Bosch shu4006uc dishwasher timer problem

Hi. I have a Bosch shu4006uc dishwasher. The timer is not going through an entire cycle.
It usually gets stuck 1/2 way between start and wash. Thus, the washer will continue to "wash" until it is shutoff or the timer is manually turned. Thank you for any assistance you can give me.

Bosch dishwasher model 6800 has timer irregularities

Don't have an answer, but am experiencing the same problem.
I had to rebuild the control unit of our Bosch Excell Dishwasher. Replaced a blown relay on the CPU.
Dishwasher seems to now work fine - i.e. fixed the lack of heating problem, but it still tells me the cycle will take 74 mins instead of the usual 32mins. The cycle then actally takes more like 35mins to complete.
Any help much appreciated.

Dishwasher stalls

If the cycle doesn't complete, check these:

Water-heating cycle
Timer
Water-heating cycle Many dishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature, as the cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses after it has filled with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-set temperature. What happens next, depends, as follows:

  • On some units, the pause is timed and the unit continues after the allotted time.

  • On others, the cycle can't continue until the water reaches the higher temperature. If you have this type of dishwasher and the water isn't being heated (say, because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues. When you repair the heating-system problem, the "cycle problem" is fixed too.

Timer Timers don't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault. Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it.

Bosch dishwasher timer freezing

There is a recall on the control board of many of these models, butyour problem is likely not related. It sounds like a plugged drain system or a possible bad drain pump. That's why you are hearing the pump running constantly. I have written a guide to help. It is here. Thanks!

Dial Timer sticks between wash or rinse modes

Hello. Is the water getting hot? Usually the timer won't advance because it isn't getting a signal from the thermostat that is on the bottom of the tub, so it thinks that the water isn't hot enough to go through the rest of the cycle. That is if the water is hot. If it isn't hot then you may need a new heater. You may or may not need a new timer. Try the thermostat first because that is usually the thing that goes out and it is less expensive than the timer. You can order it from www.coastparts.com or www.marcone.com .

Bosch dishwasher shu4322 has code 1 aqua sensor what is the sensor do and where is it located

Most of the dishwasher has a Thermal hold period in which the machine will not advance to the next cycle until the water temperature reaches a specific degree. it is possible that your aqwa sensor/or heater is bad OR as in most of the cases, the Timer relay that is responsible in turning the heater on is stuck open, in this case you need a new timer. So,Check Timer/Aqua sensor/Heater
