the lens is the outside piece that the wind hits when driving. you don't have to remove anything to get to them. what exactly do you mean by lens.

I have a D200 with a Nikkor AF-S DX 18-200mm ED zoom, and I have a similar issue with the inside of the lens shaking when I turn it on, It turned out to be a problem with the vibration reduction motor inside the lens. I first noticed a problem when zooming that it wasn't smooth, as though the inside lens was catching on something. It turned out that a roller inside the zoom somehow caught the wiring strip inside the lens and damaged it, causing the VR motor to short out.
There are forums that tell you how to repair the problem yourself on that lens, providing that you can get the replacement parts. I elected to send mine in for a repair, and hopefully its going to cost less than $AU200.00

possibly panels not len assembly is picture colours ok but foggy if so remove lens assembly and view it itself if foggy could be faulty lens or a lens sometimes plastic lens's did this

Yes, the lens can be disassembled and cleaned. But before you think about doing so, think about this. Do you have a lens collimator and other equipment necessary to ensure proper alignment on reassembly? If you don't, please leave inside cleaning to a trained professional.

HI there put it in sunlight for few hours & watch it every 10 minutes ok. After that if its not clear then visit the service center. They will clean it . May be free of coast or max 10 USD they charged. Its happened when you use in in a cold and hot place continues. For example you was sit in a AC room and came out a sunny hot out side that time that moisture will comes. Hope you understand . Thanks.

better you buy new one because the circuit inside lens get thinner and after some month or year it may gives you problem. if u are buying same then use for your
studio purpose

That depens if the fog is inside or outside, outside it usually dries faster than inside. You are advised to let it dry at least another 24 hours , if the lens is still foggy after that , thab you must go to a repair shop to let it be cleaned.
