Why is my Ixus 65's sound so bad? It sounds ok, but there's a background noise, plus, If I slow down the video, the sound gets really slow.

I'm getting a low background noise coming from the tv. Any suggestions on how to stop this annoying problem?

is it a humming sound or a shhhrhhhr sound. humming is interference from the tv, lead may have fell down on to the board near to the transformer... shhhrhhr sound is weak capacitor and/ or maybe a damaged speaker.

Shaking at 65 mph

try getting your tyres balanced, could be a loose wheel bearing (it would be making whining noise)

Canon IXUS 850 IS digital camera, video sound is not clear, can hear sound and voices, but very faint with mostly static noise, tested in multiple rooms in door and out with same issue

Possible that the mic within the camera is bad or there is obstruction to the mic. Please check and clean any dirt , place the camera and shoot without holding to confirm if the sound is better or not.

THERE IS NO SOUND IN THE VIDEOS I TAKE.

When you play your videos with your canon PowerShot SD630, try to press the up and down keys to adjust the sound, and the up key is to make the sound loud. Wish this will help you..

Ixus 65 movie recording but no sounds

Try this. While in the shooting mode, in the menu under the tools tab there is a mute control that turns all sounds off. Also under volume there is a control for playback volume.

My kodak m340 makes some clicking noise when taking videos, when i play it, i can hear the clicking in the background

The auto focus is what makes the sound. When the camera is in auto mode the sound can not be taken off. For videos and all other options on the top dial the sound can be taken away. Simply go into any mode on the top of the camera except auto; I chose video. click on the menu button and scroll down to AF CONTROL. Change from CONTINUOUS AF to SINGLE AF. This will knock out the auto focus from making that clicking sound while taking a video. The auto focus is the main component to the camera so it's really nice to have on all other dial settings; JUST NOT VIDEO!! :) Hope this helps you guys!

Audio on videos terribly noisy and hissy

Low-res audio and AVI video is probably the best you're going to get. It is a still camera first, after all.
