GoVideo Dual Deck VCR Model#GV6015with one touch copy

Trying to record (from TV) using Deck 2 of course.
There is snow on the tape. Using a pre-recorded tape playing on Dec 2 - the picture is also snowy.
Playing the sam pre-recorded tape in Dec 1 - the tape plays normally - no snow nice picture.
I tried cleaning Dec 2 with a cleaning tape, and there was no improvement.
What next???

Is it possible to copy video from a vhs to a dvd?

If the DVD drive is a recorder, yes. If it is a player only, no. If the tape is copy-protected, recording to a DVD recorder is not possible. Assuming the tapes are not copy-protected, and you are using a DVD recorder with the correct format DVDs (DVD-R for example), you shouldn't have any problems transferring old VHS tapes to DVD.

Go video VR4940 VCR video recording has sound but no picture

You can try cleaning the video tape heads. The vcr has 2 different heads. One for audio which is fixed and a drum head for video with 2 heads on it that rotate. The best way to clean them is to take a lint free cloth ad wrap it tightly around your finger. Put some alcohol on the cloth and place it on the drum. Then rotate the drum as you hold your finger against the drum. DO NOT move your finger up and down as you can brake the head off. The other option is to go buy a head cleaning stick. It's a piece of chamie on a plastic tongue depressor. I've cleaned hundreds of them with my finger though. You can clean the whole tape path with the rag. Good Luck.

I need to find a firmware upgrade for govideo vr3845a

Try this: Find a vr3845b and use the "b" model as a filter to kill the copy protect. Antenna in to the "b", out to tv goes to antenna in on the "A" model, then "out to tv" now really does go to the tv. Works for me, but I am not sure if the clean " tv " signal is created by any or all dvd recorders. Give it a try. Good Luck

One touch copying

Of course, press copy, the screen should ask what record speed, then press copy again. This should solve your problem.
