Try holding the button down until it is constant green ,(DONT LET GO) it should go constant green, then you are ready to make a drink, i am still trying to see if has re set the machine for good or not, dolce gusto have replied to my question with if its out of the 24 month guarantee period then will have to pay for a repair, typical mine is just over the 24 months
