Green blinking timer light, tv won't come on, although prior 6 months, powering tv off then back on solved the problem. Now, nada, any ideas?
This Chassis has been known for a slew of Capacitors failing throughout many of the Circuit Boards. The best way in my opinion to fix the set is to send the Chassis Assy to Mitsubishi for them to rebuild it. Some folks have has some success in replacing the bad Capacitors in the Power Supply, the DM Board, and the Format Board to get the set to turn on. These Capacitors are identifiable because the tops of them are bulging up.
