File corruption can happen when power is cut from the computer. Put a Windows cd into the drive and load up the recovery console, then run CHKDSK. If you don't have a windows cd, take the hard drive out of the emachine and connect it to a working comp. Then you can run chkdsk.exe from inside windows to fix corrupted sectors.

If your computer is powering on, that is an entirely different question. Be specific.

Emachines 5805

Sounds like a bad motherboard. It's getting power and turning on the fans and everything, except booting it up. Yeah, sure sounds like a bad MB. How old is the pc? You have to be careful with Emachines. They are built cheap and break often.

EMachines eMD620 suddenly shutdown and not boot anymore

When this happened was the laptop overly hot? If the laptop's head got too high it could have shutdown to protect itself. It wouldn't boot until the heat had disparate. Sit you laptop aside for about 30 minutes and see if it will boot then. If it does you might want to check out a cool mat.

I hear two beeps when i conect power suply on my emachine t5212 model

Very sorry about your son.

If you can't find the real problem, you can always put that hard drive into another PC to get the files. If so, be sure to looking to a potential "jumper" setting on that drive for it to be recognized.

When i push the power button on my emachine the e screen flashes and it wont turn on what do i do to fix this?

If you just did a memory upgrade then the new chip is either not seated properly or the wrong type or even bad. Since it won't boot the problem is the ram in memory slot one. You need to rock it a bit to make sure it is seated before snapping it in. If it is the wrong speed or type you need to exchange it. It can also be bad but that usually means a counterfeit these days or you gave it a static shock and burned it out..

If you put your old ram back in you should be able to work again until you get the ram replaced.

Emachine boots to bios with a new hard drive installed

Go inside to your BIOS menu then set the BOOT sequence to CD as the first boot so when your PC with the operating system installation disk inside it will load the installation wizard.
Good luck hope that helps........
