Hi. I just bought an in-car charger for the 7211 on ebay. It is 5v with a 2amp flow. It's not for the mini-USB port on the side but for the dc input hole on the other side. I've just plugged it into my laptop via the mini-USB port to see if it will charge that way but it doesn't seem to be doing. Hope this helps.

hi mate the nav-cam 7000 and the 7500 are the same, i have the 7500 all of the data on the disc applies for the 7000 & the 7500 as far as camera updtes this is now in the process with the company that has taken over evesham, anyway you have to install active sync and use the cable to install the info onto the sd card, give it time and you should receive the sat signal unless it is stolen where then they can switch them off. good luck
