Cannot access system -- forgot password. Cannot enter BIOS without password to change it. What else can I try?
Open the computer case. On the motherboard, (looking from the bottom of the motherboard), in the bottom right quadrant, to the right of the CMOS battery, you'll see two jumpers labeled CLR_CMOS and PSWD. You'll want to move the jumper for the PSWD block to pins 2-3 for 5 seconds and then replace the jumper on pins 1-2. This will clear the CMOS password.
Open the door where the RAM chips are, locate the pins ( should be two) short out with a paper clip and reboot.

Most of us would be too timid to short out something inside their system with a paperclip but I still think your advice deserves an EXCELLENT rating!
It'll clear the CMOS password, but you can't bypass the Windows password.
