Swiching from tv to playing video

Hi:
Frist use your cell phone camera mode to see if remote is putting out IR signal, you should be able to see the Infared led light up on the cell phone display, if it does then remote is good and IR receiver inside the Tv is at fault. Just point the remote at you cell phone camera while pushing a button on the remote.

This tv/dvd combo is a NTSC DVD disc region only.Only read DVD disc from US,Canada or Mexico only sorry.Can not changes it to mutiple region to read PAL DVD disc in Europe,Asia,Middle East or Africa.Must buy a region free DVD player to play all the world DVD disc regions.

if it wont play any dvd it is definately the laser sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it is broken if this helped be sure to vote i look forward to hearing how you got on

have you switched the tv to the av channel because a scart lead goes to the av channel shown on a remote as a box with an arrow pointing out or a av button hope this helps.

Check the video format

We had the same issue. Try clicking <play>1234<play> and it should unlockk the dvd in the machine. Seems to work on my daughters. It's a parental control of come sort. HTH.

when we first got ours i put a dvd in and it wouldnt play either then i noticed you have to push the input buttons until it is on dvd mode every time you play a dvd

just use the master password 5963 you must create a new password.
