Hi, To program the DVD player's remote control to operate your TV, follow these steps:
Turn on the TV, and then aim the DVD player’s remote control at the TV.
Press and hold the [TV Power] button on the DVD player's remote control.
While holding the [TV Power] button, use the number buttons on the remote to enter the two digit code assigned to your brand of TV.
Note 1: If your DVD player's remote control can be programmed to operate a TV, the TV brand codes will be listed in your owner's manual. If you don't have your owner's manual available, click here to go to the download center and download a copy. Note 2: Many TV brands have more than one code. If the first code does not work, try the next available code.
If the TV turns off, the code worked correctly and your remote control is now programmed. If the TV stays on, repeat steps 1 through 3 with a different code listed for your brand of TV.
Note: If none of the codes listed allows your DVD player's remote to control your TV, then the remote is not compatible with your specific model. Let us know if you want something more else please accept the suggestion. Thank You for contacting Fixya.com
Go video remote for dvd/vcr recorder combo; you program TV by 2 digit codes. press TV power down when TV is powered on; and input 11 for JVC TV, or 03 for GE TV. You can experiment any two digit codes until TV shut down, then you have just finished programing n150b remote. This also work for all LG dvd/vcr combo recorder remote such as 6711RN203A..
Most RCA and GE universal remotes can be programmed to work with your equipment. Walmart has one for less than $8 that works with most units, and also works with DTV tuners. You may have to program the DVD and the TV as two separate buttons
you might need to use the aux mode on the remote to separately control the dvd part of the set. follow the instructions in your remote programming guide to set the remote for dvd in the auxillary mode and try it that way.
If both units are LG you don't have to program anything. Below the power button are 6 buttons labeled TV, DVD, etc. As soon as you push the DVD button the remote should work it. Remember to push the TV button again to make it work the TV.
Put your TV/DVD/VCR on
hold in what you want to program TV/DVD/VCR BUTTON
(you dont need codes or anything)
then while holding in what you want to program (TV, DVD, VCR) hold in ON/OFF
both at the same time
when the light comes on and stays on
keep hitting ON/OFF BUTTON
do it slow, when the TV turns off hit the STOP button at the bottom
then hit the button you just programed
then hit the ON/OFF button, the TV/DVD/VCR will turn on
if it doesnt work, repeat. make sure you hit the stop button when the
TV/DVD/VCR shuts off, if you hit it an extra time while the TV/DVD/VCR
is off it wont work.
took me about 30 mins to figure it out.
I lost my codes too, but I wanted to help all you other people too..
now since I helped you.. check my band out...
