Mitsubishi WS-65807 65" Rear Projection Television Logo
Posted on Feb 20, 2008

Color changes After the TV warms up approx. 20 minutes later the red color tends to fade in and out. When you turn the TV off it resets itself then begins it again about 10 minutes later. Would like to know what if anything needs to be replaced on the TV.

Your tv has three crt guns that correspond to how it makes colors.

If its just one color acting weird it might be the crt gun for red. That sucks cause it will be hard to replace. I think its possible to fix it but it might not be worth it... Sorry...

Red lines on Samsung UN46B7100. Is this the TCON board or the panel?

Have you checked all cables first? Color fluctuations and problems of this nature can be caused by a bad VGA/HDMI/Component cable. Try plugging your source device into other inputs and see if you get the same result. If that happens you more than likely have a bad video card.

Photo 1290 Changing ink cartridge

Hi there,

You may have to reset your printer, for when the green an red are flashing. Please do the following in order to reset the printer;
1-switch off printer itself
2-switch off at socket for 20 seconds
3-hold down both black buttons on front
switch on at mains
4-switch on printer itself
green and red flash together
5-now switch off at mains and leave for 3 seconds
6-while holding down both front buttons again, switch on at mains
both green and red flash together so release
7-quickly hold down the left botton, the one with the scroll icon above it.

Hold this until it resets itself, - the print head will re
charge and it will be obvious.

Restting by unpluggin rather than turning off at mains tends not to work.

This must help you as it worked for me.

Color red seems to be more prominant...than other

I've had this problem with my projection TV recently. I would say your lens/lamp is to blame. It might be time to change it, depends on the last time it was changed, most of the time, the TV will tell you that it needs to be changed, but not always. I think your best bet is the TV lamp.

Need to know what the lights mean on a makita dc24sa charger

• When the battery cartridge is inserted, the charging light color will change from green to red and charging will begin.
The charging light will remain lit steadily during charging.
• One red charging light indicates charged condition in 0 – 80% and two red ones indicates 80 – 100%.
• With finish of charge, the charging lights will change from two red ones to two green ones.
• The charging time is as follows:
Battery B9017A, BH1220, BH1420, BH9020A: approx. 20 minutes.
Battery B2417, BH1233, BH1433, BH2420, BH9033A: approx. 30 minutes.
Battery B2430, BH2433: approx. 60 minutes.

The color in my tv is changing

Sounds like either the red crt drive bd is failing or the red crt may be shorting. Either way this is not an easy problem and will require a qualified professional to diagnose.

Tv shuts off

When you let it sit for approx. 15 minutes it will come back on and usually stay on. I've also noticed that the color will fade in and out at times. during 15 mts of your sitting do you get sound & less brightness then problem in video or luminance section. if picture is dim & color will fade in and out at times then possibility of crt is getting less voltage on g2. if set is old then there is a possibility of crt getting weak. but if the above things are not there then problem in power supply. good luck

Problem with color

Yes you have a problem in the red crt driver board. Most likely the driver transistor is failing. This is a component level repair, so if you have no experience with TV repair, play it safe and call in a trained tech to assist you in this matter. Good Luck
