Apple-75k mod-chip to be installed in playstation2
I have an apple-75k mod-chip which i need to install it i my playstation2 model:SCPH-90002 main-board:GH-071-42 n i don't know how to install it in my ps2 n i would b very glad if u can just assist me with the installation diagram THANK YOU

ruben, the PS1 is the only system created with the capability of adding a mod chip. When they first came out, the PS1Generation 1(PSX)could play burned games and DVD's. Sony discovered that it created an issue with the excessive wear of the cd drive, so they recalled the system. Then they re-released it and it couldn't play DVD's anymore. The PS2 could already play DVD so it has no mod chip function.
Modding is the process of putting a mod chip in the ps2 to read burned games and to hack games. I wouldn't recomend doing it because it is highly illegal.
Downloading games is illegal but there are some ways to do it. First of all you will need a mod chip that will allow you to play ripped game. After you have the chip installed in your ps2 you need to download the games using torrents. take a look around at some torrent sites for your games and then download them if you can find them.
There is more than one model of PS2, and more than one PS2 DVD player
module. For some models or modules, only a Messiah 2 or Magic 2 chip
installation will make them region free.

I don't really think I can find any info. on that. I would suggest calling or visiting the person/company that installed the mod-chip. I wouldn't call sony playstation because downloading games for the ps2 can sometimes be illegal.
