When shotting the gun the nails dont go in all the way. ive tryed raising the air pressure and adjust that littlet still doesnt shoot all the way. thing on the gun but still doesnt work

You can check a few things to identify the problem if your Senco FramePro 602 nail gun is not shooting at angles:

Make sure the depth adjustment is adjusted appropriately for the material you are dealing with and the nail size by checking it.

If no air is leaking from gun, miss-fire is usually caused by worn or too tight piston oring or lack of lubrication. Easy test. Disconnect airline, remove nails, point nose of gun up then down. Driver should stay in uppermost position. If driver moves up then down within gun replace piston oring and retest. Set pressure to about 100psi. Good luck with repair.

hello hunt..... oil it and also check to be sure that the nails you are using are the correct ones for that gun, and that the air pressure is set high enough.

Finally disconnect it from the air supply and manually raise and lower the "hammer" to properly lube it. Joe

There are some adjustment But for safety reason's it could also be dried or sticky safety switch ,you could try setting or oiling it, But should probably let the certified repair shop do the job, that may alleviate you of some liability . hope this helps .

the first thing that i look at when a gun is double shooting is the nails. if i have the right nails then i check the driver( part of the gun that hits the nail) if the driver is fine( not bent or broken or worn) then your nose( chamber that holds the nail right before being shot out) is worn or broken. either way to answer your question , no , double shooting is not only dangerous but a complete waste of time, ps rate , tks

I hope this doesn't offend you. What I'm suggesting is that you may not be using your nail gun correctly. Some people keep the trigger pulled and bounce the gun onto the wood. This technique works okay, but placement accuracy of the nail suffers. The other technique is to place the gun on the wood and pull the trigger USING TWO HANDS! This is the technique suggested by the manufacturer. The problem with this technique is that if you apply insufficient pressure to the gun (USING ONE HAND) the safety is not engage so you don't shoot a nail. What usually happens - I just witnessed this a couple of weeks ago - is that not enough pressure is applied while pulling the trigger so you push harder and end up bumping the gun which shoots a nail - because you have the trigger pulled, but the nail shot was a surprise so it causes another bump (and is more apt to bounce because you're using just one hand). Because it is a machine and can operate faster than your reflexes - it shoots another nail. This happens before you can lift it off of the wood, or remove your finger from the trigger. That's the reason I keep the trigger pulled and bounce it. I know that after the bounce I've set a nail, and can remove my finger from the trigger. When I need to accurately set a nail I always use two hands, press hard and pull the trigger, and release quickly. Only pull the trigger when you know you're about to set a nail, and are poised above the workpiece.

The keeper is sticking after the first nail is shot. Once you disconnect the air, the air pressure drops allowing the keeper to drop for the next nail to enter the chamber. Try using airtool oil a little more often, if you are, then you have mechanical issue that will need to be fixed.

1.) Lubricate nail gun
2.) Use correct air pressure. finish nailers 80psi and below. framing nailers 80psi and above.

I use nail guns every day, when the rod doesnt return 90% of the time its lack of lubrication. You should add a drop of air tube lubricate everytime before use.

If that doesnt work the rod may be bent or the seal around it may be worn.

The dial on the top of the gun is most likely the depth adjustment for the nails, this should solve the driver damaging the work piece. Make sure the nails are the correct guage for the nailer you have.
