Samsung: nv4 .the problem is when i switch my camera on, on the display is says turn off and on again. i have done this repeatedly with no affect. how can i fix this
Ok so I was searching for the answer for this myself.. very hard to say, because it really depends on what happened to your camera.. Did you drop it? Did it emerge in water? But for me, I have come to the conclusion for everyone who has the problem.. it is most (99%) probably a problem with the lense.. another site told me to take it to get fiixed- or to take the battery out and wait 20 min to put it back in, because this resets it. I decided to manually open the lense myself (who knows if thats bad/good to do, but a girl's gotta take her pix!!) So anyway, i opened the lense, and turned it on- the "on again off again" msg went away. So most likely, the problem does stem to the lense not being able to be opened, so the msg pops up, if you open the lense yourself your camera works fine, when you turn it off- my closes the lense-just doesnt open it. different results for different people, but i hope this helps because it was very simple.
I'm sorry that the Camera
is displaying the error message. "TURN THE POWER OFF AND ON AGAIN"
displays on the LCD screen when the Lens Mechanism is stuck or when affected by
any malfunction. If turning the power on and off again does not resolve the
error message, try doing a power reset. Please follow the below steps to
perform a power reset.
·
Turn off the camera.
·
Remove the battery pack.
·
Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
·
Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.
·
Reinsert the battery pack.
·
Turn on the camera.
