When i insert a music Cd the media has problems to play. citing sound controillers as problem. this error started after i reinstalled Operating system XP profession

You have deleted your sound card drivers when you reinstalled windows. You'll need to visit the manufacturers website, go to the support & downloads section, find your model and download the drivers. Try going to Start - Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager - then right click any yellow question marks and choose Update Drivers from the list. When asked, let windows search online for suitable drivers and click next. If Windows fails then you must get the drivers from the manufacturer's website. If you can't find it then post all the details of your sound card (from device manager) here and someone will help you. Best of luck!

First Check you have Properly inserted Speaker Jack in right Jack in your computer sound panel. and also make sure that speakers are working perfectly.

if above connection are Ok then Try to play Other Music files in other Music Player like WinAmp, Cyberlink etc... If sound is comming then Install newer version of Windows media Player. other wise there is

I sync with my mp3 player on computer it loads then i press play on mp3 player no music but vol is on i save my music from cd straight to windows media player then sync with mp3 player

if its right you just copy the shortcut of the music from your cd to your windows media player, meaning you cannot play that song in the media player if the cd is not inserted, you have to rip first the cd to your pc then put it in your mp3. Also make sure that you rip it in the right format that your mp3 can play, media player automatically rip the music as wma not mp3, make sure your mp3 player can play wma.

it sounds like your laser is either dirty or it needs replaced. when a laser starts to go they usually will play music but not any games or movies.

Greetings my friend, regarding on your problem try to check or clean your CD/DVD ROM. Try to clean it with disk cleaner cause sometimes we forgot to cleam the important part of CD/DVD ROM its eye the one that reads all the dat in the disk. So try to clean it and play the disk again after you clean. Also try to clean also the disk you want to insert in your CD/DVD ROM in order to prevent this problem again.

Yeah if your spec doesn't meet the requirements it will hang. Also the most possible cause is fault in downloading or there is error on the file itself.

Playing Music

Hello,

Besure that the cd inserted is readable by your CD rom.

You can open your windows media player.
click file menu,
then click open. browse your CD drive and select all the musics files and then click ok.

click play.

If this not resolve then verify if your computer has a speaker, not mute the volume control. or the device controller is installed properly. (the audio driver)

CD-R problem

If this is happening it's usually a sign that your drive is failing as it can no longer read the media type, but just double check, if you are using Nero that you havent got DVD highlighted in the start smart as the media to burn to.
