For number 1 and 3 you need check up wiring, and if good then replace the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor (G2).

For number 2 only erase all faults from all ECU systems after damaged components replacement.

For number 4 check up radio electrical cables and in most cases antena connexion (radio without communication).

For number 5 check up supply wiring and Shift Solenoid (SS) C - performance or stuck of.

96 taurus ax4n tranny

You might need to replace the valve body clip with the upgraded (stronger) one. Ford had problems for a while with the clip breaking and not allowing the tranny to shift into O/D. I had the no O/D problem, I replaced the clip with the upgraded (stronger) one which fixed the problem.

I have a 1998 Nissan Maxima GLE, I Failed the Emission Inspection (DTC) Diagnostic Trouble Codes of "P1492","P1105" What these Codes exactly? mean

A code P0300 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • Faulty spark plugs or wires
  • Faulty coil (pack)
  • Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
  • Faulty fuel injector(s)
  • Burned exhaust valve
  • Faulty catalytic converter(s)
  • Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages
  • Faulty camshaft position sensor
  • Defective compute
  • P1105MAP/BARO Pressure Switch Solenoid Valve
  • Check and clean the MAP sensor, or replace.
  • P1492EVAP Canister Purge Control/Solenoid Valve (Circuit)
  • Replacing the purge solenoid will clear code P1492 This should also clear code P0300 as well.

Failed OBDII Diagnstic trouble codes P0761 and O1744 What does this mean?

code P0761-
Possible causes - Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Faulty shift solenoid 3 valve
- Shift solenoid 3 valve harness or connectors
- Shift solenoid 3 valve circuit is open or shorted
P0761 FORD Description Shift solenoid valve 3 is turned ON or OFF by the Transmission Control Module (TCM) in response to signals sent from the park/neutral position (PNP) switch, vehicle speed and Engine Control Module (ECM) (throttle opening). Gears will then be shifted to the optimum position. When is the code detected? The P0761 code is detected when the ECM has detected a mechanical fault with the solenoid energized, valve stuck off code O1744- is not a code these are the ones I have found that come close

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND SO IS THE AIR BAG LIGHT

I recommend taking your car to your local auto parts store like AutoZone. They will hook up their diagnostic computer free of charge and generate your error codes. They can also decode the codes and tell you what may be the proximate cause. Same thing the VW Dealer will do for a charge of $65 (but AutoZone is FREE). One of the codes probably relates to a bad seal on your gas cap (try removing, cleaning and replacing). One of the other codes might be indicative of a bad oxygen sensor. They cost $20+, so you want to be certain before you start a replacement. There are between 2-3 oxygen sensors on your car.

Sorry I couldn't be more descriptive.

My air bag light on my 2004 hyndai elantra keeps going on

Ok... have you scanned for trouble codes? You see, the airbag light comes on because the system has found a fault/problem and has set a code and turns on the AirBag light. So, take it in to a Hyundai Service Center/dealership and have them tell you what the trouble code is... they will tell you what needs to be done to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc). This way you'll find out EXACTLY what the problem is and what's required to fix it.

1995 Imprezza trouble codes

I would not recommend just resetting the light unless you have corrected the reason it was on…..Your vehicle’s computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with one of the components or sensors it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light to tell you that there is a problem and you need to diagnosed and repaired it. The list of possible codes number in the hundreds. The code itself doesn't tell exactly what component is defective - it only indicates where to look, or what engine parameter is out of normal range. You or a technician will have to perform further testing to pinpoint cause and the proper repair. Even if you reset the light, if the underlying problem is not addressed it will come back on. I have seen the computer make the fan run all the time when it sees a problem with the coolant temp sensor.

Obd 2 codes p0761 p0420

P0420 - Catalyst System Low Efficiency, possible worn out cat converter, if truck is low miles may be sensor issue.

P0761 - Shift Solenoid C Performance or Stuck Off , at some time the transmission had a sticky shift (solenoid #C) solenoid, has the trans ever been serviced, if over 60,000 change the fluid and filter, this issue can be caused by a piece of dirt or clutch material from normal wear.
