SOURCE: I have a problem with uneven shaped loaves

The paddles fit two ways, so what you must do is have them facing opposite ways, then they fight with each other and elongate the loaf

SOURCE: I have the Black and Decker All-In-One Deluxe

There is a sealed bearing in the bottom of the bread pan. The paddle sits on the sealed bearing shaft. Over time the bearing begins to fail and the paddle does not turn freely or it may even freeze up. If you are sure everything is installed correctly this may be the problem. See if the paddle moves freely by hand and is not really loose. Sealed bearings can not be replaced. Eventually you will need a new bread pan. Sorry Hank

SOURCE: i need to replace bread maker paddle

Your model number for the all in one pro should be a B1650 (single paddle model)

If that is correct then this is one source for the paddle:

An informationl note about Black and Decker products is that there are replacement parts for anything they make as long as they have no discontinued the model number. Once the model number is discontinued they have aftermarket replacement parts for 5 years only.
(your replacement paddle is starting to show up as no longer available)

The orignal paddle part number is: 429592-00

Here is a 2nd source for the paddle:

SOURCE: I made basic white bread

Can you tell me what kind of flour you used? In other words was it all purpose flour, bread flour etc.? Maybe we can figure out what went wrong. Your machine is probably fine. Bread machines are pretty tough.

Black & Decker B2200 2lb Breadmaker. The Shaft falls out - nylon washer?

Question edited for clarity, add maker.

Most parts are discontinued and I can't find a parts diagram. This article is the most helpful one. It sounds like you need a new paddle so it fits the shaft better, or you have too many nylon washers and the shaft isn't sitting deep enough in the paddle. All my bread is made by hand, no machines and hand kneaded. The dough proves in the oven with just the light on. Breadmaking is fun.

Can't remove kneading blade

If you baked bread in it and cannot get the paddle free, put enough water in the pan to cover the paddle and let it set for 5 or 10 min to soak the bread crust that formed between the shaft and the paddle. Then take a hold of the shaft on bottom of pan with hand or pliers to hold it still and try to work the paddle clockwise with other hand until it becomes unwedged from shaft. Sometimes it gets wedged on shaft pretty tight due to the beating against dough ball and cooked bread holds it tightly wedged.

The part that the kneading paddle connects to in the machine is not working. Will not turn the kneading paddle

Hi, The sealed bearing that the paddle shaft fits through is frozen and has failed. You could try filling the pan 1/2 way with hot water for a few times to see if it turns but otherwise a new bread pan is needed. Hank

Hi, Take the paddle out of the machine at the end of the last kneading cycle and before final rise.. Use pause or take pan out of machine to remove paddle. OR... spray the shaft with a small amount of olive oil. This should allow paddle to come out when bread is done. You will have to fish the paddle out of the bread in this step. Hank

Hi, Take the pan out of tha machine and see if the paddle spins freely by hand. If yes that's great...if no then the sealed bearing might be sticking and starting to fail. Next check the tension on the belts. The motor and belts are located in the base of the machine. Be sure to unplug machine and ask someone to help you if you are not mechanically inclined. Hank

First time use. set machine to dough and pressed

Hi, Keep the bread pan out of the machine and start a kneading cycle. Look through the lid window and see if the motor shaft is turning. If no...then the belt fell off. If the motor spins, check to make sure the paddle spins freely. Keep pan out and turn paddle by hand. If no then the bearing is frozen. If that's ok..make sure you inserted the pan correctly into machine. If everything checks out then it's a faulty machine. Before you do anything send it out for warranty service. Usually it's warranted for a year. Hank

Hi,
It could be the belt is slipping or a loose gear. Take a look at the gear & belt assembly in the base of the machine. Also, make sure the sealed bearing in the bottom of the bread pan is not sticking. It should turn free by hand Hank

The machine does not rotate, I mean it does not mix the dough, the sound is on of rotating but it doesnt move on.

Hi,
Take the bread pan and paddle out of the machine and see it you can spin the paddle freely by hand. If no, then the sealed bearing is frozen or broken. If yes keep the pan out of the machine and start a kneading cycle. Look through the lid window and see if the motor shaft is spinning. If no then the belt fell off or snapped, or the motor is broken. The dough made by my B2000 Break Maker has black contaminations coming from the paddle shaft. The shaft is quite loose and can be pushed up and down easily. Any help or advice on how to deal with this will...

Hi,
That contamination seems to be oil from the lubricated bearing at the bottom of the bread pan. This bearing is factory sealed, but the seal and the bearing is broken or worn causing the shaft to move freely.

Unfortunately there is no fix and the pan must be replaced.

Hank
