Need to transfer photos, contacts, and text messages from Samsung Blackjack SGH-i607 to my mac. I have the USB cable and SHOULD have bluetooth ability. Manual says that only way is with microsoft ActiveSync, but I don't have download disc and can't find a free mac download. I don't need to sync-- I only need a one-time transfer. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Sorry to say but those are the only possible things that you can try even for your MAC, there's no third party software that you can use for this purpose.
That's a good thing to hear even if you need to purchased a software in order for you to that purpose.

Yes, a memory card might be easier, but I don't have one! My mac recognizes the phone via bluetooth and has "paired" with it but doesn't "connect" to it. Honestly, I thought that having the USB cable, the phone would just show as an icon on my desktop and I could drag and copy all of the contact, text, and photo files (there's a bunch, so I wouldn't want to do it manually). Is there software ANYwhere that I can use for my mac? Any other ideas? Thanks.
Oh well, I was able to copy my photo files to a friend's PC and
transfer data to a flash drive. FYI, I recently discovered "missing sync" software for mac users and windows-based smartphones & devices. I couldn't find a free trial version, but the $40ish bucks for the download may be worth it for prolonged use.
