Yes, but you will need to make sure if the version of Outlook that you have is comaptible to windows 7.
Officially only Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 are supported to run on Windows 7. This is similar to Windows Vista which also did not support earlier versions of Outlook. You can install a version prior to Outlook 2003 on Windows 7 though but there are several issues which you could encounter.
In addition to these version requirements, even with Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 there are several compatibility issues which you could encounter on Windows 7. The most critical of these issues have been taken care off in prior service pack releases. So before starting Outlook on Windows 7, make sure your first apply at least Service Pack 3 for Office 2003 and Service Pack 2 for Office 2007.
Hope this will help...Your response is very much appreciated...
Make sure you have all of the critical and important patches for both your operating system and MS Office/Outlook. If you continue having these problems after being fully patched, go to the Add/Remove Programs (XP and earlier) or Programs and Features (Vista) applet. Select MS Office (if you have the full Office installation) or MS Outlook (if you have the standalone Outlook installation). In Vista, select Change otherwise select Uninstall (which should open a dialog offering to Repair or Uninstall the application(s)). Select Repair and click Next to let it do its thing. A reboot may be required when it has completed its work. You also may need to reapply service packs and patches so make sure you visit Windows Update, Microsoft Update, and/or the Office Update websites as soon as possible.
