Sorry it took so long to reply to your problem. You must try to reset the Clock/Radio's microprocessor. To do this you must disconnect the Clock/Radio from the A/C power source and remove the internal battery. Let the Clock/Radio set without any power source for about 3 hours. This should completely drain all the power from the microprocessor. After this is done, reinsert the internal battery and plug the Clock/Radio into the A/C power source. The Clock/Radio's functions should return to normal. If they do not return to normal. Unplug the Clock/Radio from the A/C power source and remove the internal battery. Replace the internal Battery (CR2430). Let the Clock/Radio again drain all the power from the microprocessor. Insert the new battery and Plug the Clock/Radio into the A/C power source. The Clock/Radio's functions should return to normal. If you should still be having problem with the functions of the Clock/Radio, you will need to call Emerson Customer Support. The telephone number for Emerson Customer Support is 1-800-909-1240. Call them between the hours of 8am-4:30pm CT. Give them the make and model number of the Clock/Radio and ask them for assistance with your problem. I hope this information help you with your problem. Radio worked fine......then I was trying to find another channel by turning the tuner knob and all of a sudden it just locked and when I turn the tuner knob it won't change stations. Nothing works but the...

This may help: If you take off the front of the radio (don't forget 2 screws in back!) you will notice a set of black and red wires running from the 2 AA backup batteries to the digital display circuit board. The wires plug into the board with a little white plug. If you unplug this the display will fade to nothing. If you plug it back in it will display an unset digital clock format. This seems to reset the radio, after which it should work.

My dewalt radio charges, but has no display and wont play anything at all

Try this if the display seems stuck on the same station: If you take off the front of the radio (don't forget 2 screws in back!) you will notice a set of black and red wires running from the 2 AA backup batteries to the digital display circuit board. The wires plug into the board with a little white plug. If you unplug this the display will fade to nothing. If you plug it back in it will display an unset digital clock format. I had this problem recently. If you take off the front of the radio (don't forget 2 screws in back!) you will notice a set of black and red wires running from the 2 AA backup batteries to the digital display circuit board. The wires plug into the board with a little white plug. If you unplug this the display will fade to nothing. If you plug it back in it will display an unset digital clock format. This seems to reset the radio or something. And then it works.
