.
• Allow the Bluetooth enabled device to discover your BlackBerry device. In the Bluetooth setup application, click Allow another device to find me.
.
• Turn off encryption for Bluetooth connections between your BlackBerry device and the Bluetooth enabled device. In the device options, click Bluetooth. Click a Bluetooth enabled device. Click Device Properties. Change the Encryption field to Disabled. Press the Menu key. Click Save.

Try performing the following actions:

• Verify that Bluetooth® technology is turned on.

• Verify that your BlackBerry® device is paired with the Bluetooth enabled device.

Visor bt, i need a passkey code. i have no idea what this is

Yes had same problem. all the usual 0000, 1234 etc access to the device was denied...on the point of binning it.....However found the answer... Get your phone to the point where its recognised another device ie the bt visor , select and its asking for password. ...now ...Turn on BT Visor BUT continue to hold main button for several seconds. There will then be another beep and light flashes alternately red and blue now insert 0000 into your phone and ok...this should then pair the devices.
Good luck

Can send, but can NOT receive via bluetooth on BB 8110

I contacted the supplier and found out that the handset is faulty. As it was not a simple technical problem, they will exchange the handset- hopefully with a faultless one!
Thanks

Need a numeric passkey for tomtom one xl to enter into the blackberry 8830

try this, pair from the tomtom and not your BB, set your blackberry's bluetooth to discoverable.

from the tomtom search for BT devices, your BB should show up, connect to it, and when asked for a passkey try entering 1234 or 0000. if those dont work your BB should show that the tomtom is attempting to connect and should ask you whether to accept or deny, it may then ask for a passkey which you specify on your BB which you then enter on the tomtom

Can't

A passkey is similar to a password. When connecting to some bluetooth devices, you have to have a passkey for the connection to establish.
