Hi, I have the same dishwasher with the same problem. Basically i just have to pull it as hard as I can from both sides of the dishwasher door near the top, and it makes a loud "click" and comes open. Not sure what the problem is with it, but i've been doing that for a number of years.

New integrated baumatic fridge freezer installed yesterday but the door sensor alarm keeping going off..door is def shut. As baumatic gone into administration has anyone got any ideas plse?

It's telling you it has a fault, you have to find out who is doing the warranty work for Baumatic now, by law they have to honor the warranty.

Baumatic b15 drain pump will not stop.

Sounds like a dicky or jammed water level sensor. Get a qualified and licensed technician to check it out. The sensor and labour to replace it should only be around AU$50 or AU$60 dollars (excluding callout or pickup / delivery fees).

The programe wont stars

Dear Sir:
You must fit very well the door catch. The switch is the elements most important for to run the dishwasher. Otherwise you must waste your time.

See the diagram attached, and you will the switch door must be close for to close the starting relay for RUN the main motor.

sincerely. God bless you

Door will not shut.No error code.Door keeps springing open!

Hi there
If this door was mine I would get the dishwasher -doctor to come and fix the door. On the other hand if you have a good friend who likes repairing things he might talk to your machine.

MDB7600aws Maytag dishwasher heats up with door shut when off

Your timer is jamming on the heat cycle. When you open the door the door interlock switch cuts the power off and stops the cycle.

Probably if you just close the door again it will heat again unless the machine is started again.

You need to repair or replace the timer.

Dishwasher door locked shut

Apply firm pressure to the door while you press or pull the release latch. The screws holding the latch assembly could have loosened. Tighten screws after you get it open.

Baumatic dishwasher won't start

Had this problem with the Baumatic 13. Perhaps the door is not closing properly. Make sure you push the door hard in the top centre. It should beep once and then start after a few secoonds.

Cycle will not start

sounds like your machine is not taking in any water at all, which is the first thing the dishwasher wants to do on all programme settings. The constant whirring noise you refer to will be the water valve trying to take water into your machine. As yours isn't filling in the first place the programme cannot progress without water and it will just sit there whirring.Anyway, to resolve this matter I would check the fill hose which goes from the back of machine to your cold water pipe in your kitchen/utility, in case somebody has turned off supply.where the flexi hose meets the copper supply pipe there should be a thumbturn shut/open valve, turn this 90 degrees or a quarter turn and if you here a rush of water for a split second then you have fixed it.At this point try setting away a programme to see if water is going into dishwasher. If not have a bucket ready and unscrew the flexi hose altogether to make sure water is travelling past shut/open valve. If not you need a new shut/open valve. If water is able to pass this valve reconnect to dishwasher turn shut/open valve a quarter turn to open flow of water again, test machine on any programme again ,if it fills then your sorted, if not it must be your dishwashers internal water valve that will need replacing. Not a major job (located behind fill hose) but make sure electric and water supplies are off first before dabbling and write down your machines make and model number before shopping for part. GOOD LUCK.
