I bought a black and decker pole battery saw, used it once and recharged it to use again,it only ran about 10 minutes and the battery went dead, or to low to do any work. Is all the batterys that undependable? I BOUGHT A DOUBLE PACK OF FIRESTORM BATTERIES WITH CHARGER, and they won`t even take a charge. This is the 18 volt battery. Also the battery I got with the saw was a 2 prong, the firestrom is a 3 prong, would that make a difference? the number for the battery that came with the saw is 244760-00. the firestorm battery number is fs1808x. thank you, george

George, firestorm bats. I believe are for the drills ? There is usually a 2 year warranty on B&D products, either take it back to the store where you purchased or contact Black & Decker : blackanddecker.com

How to tighten chain on black and decker cordless pole saw

A properly-tensioned chainsaw chain should still be just a little loose on the chainsaw guide bar, but the chain needs to be tight enough that you can't pull the drive links out of the bar nose.

Battery fully charged but pole prunning saw does not work at all poles are connected properly

You do not mention the model number.
Honestly, I had never used a pole saw, but I needed to cut down a lot of tree branches and Black+Decke worked wonderfully. With it being cordless I could easily walk around my entire yard without worrying about it. The chain does loosen after cutting through several limbs, but it's super easy to tighten back. It's easy to assemble.
