F 02 code is showing on my kenmore elite he3 front load washer - the washer will not open

if its a Kenmore model then this message says that the button control board has lost sight of the main control board , but its been my experience that this maybe able to be reset and it may never come back or it will not reset and the control board will need replaced (50/50)

in the HE3 series it means the drain tube or pump is clogged

happened to me once - I just unplugged the machine - waited a minute and plugged it back - it - then used cancel button

There is an override switch directly below the latch under the machine on most front loaders.

F 02 Is your key pad user interface that has failed. I would call back and get some free service from a different technician.
