Alpine cda7998 disc error

I have an alpine 7998 everything in the cd player works except for the disc function. When the function of the radio works the power, displays ,fantonface,almost all works, unless I insert a disc the cd player tries to read the disc and after a few seconds its displays disc error, I tried different cds, mp3s and it still keeps doing the same. I just wonder what can I do to fix this or if there is any place that I may send this to get fixed.
