By default, the incoming and outgoing mail scan functions are enabled in Trend Micro Internet Security. To enable or disable mail scanning, do the following:
For Trend Micro Internet Security Pro 2009 and Trend Micro Internet Security 2009 and Trend Micro Internet Security Pro 2008 and Trend Micro Internet Security 2008 1.Open the Trend Micro Internet Security main console by doing any of the following:
Click Start > Programs or All Programs > Trend Micro Internet Security > Trend Micro Internet Security.
OR Double-click the Trend Micro Internet Security icon on the lower right
corner of your screen.
2.On the left panel, click Virus & Spyware Controls. Under Protection Against Viruses & Spywaresection, click Settings
3.Under Check for the following threats section, put a check mark in the check boxes for Threats in incoming mail and Threats in outgoing mail to enable mail scanning. To disable it, remove the check marks.
4.Click OK to save your settings.
5.Close the Trend Micro Internet Security main console.
