Error 99 stands for communication fault between timer board and the sr drive.there are 5 things that can cause this error.1.rs-485 cable disconnected or malfunction 2.1 con monitordisconnected or malfunction. 3.run/stop wiring disconnected or malfunction. 4.timer board malfunction. 5.sr drive malfunction. hope this helps, dont forget to vote, thanks, monomoy

Hobart HL 600 Trips GFI breakers
The sure fire tester for this problem is called a MEGGER and it measures the resistance between the insulations on everything. You could try that to see what it says. Some motors dont work well with GFI because they are capacitive start and that trips the GFI.

HOBART HL 600 NOT WORKING.SPEED & TIMMER ALL LIGHTS WORKING BUT NO MOTOR FUNCTIONS.
What'd ya do to that poor little workhorse? You need a Hobart service guy. The power is not getting from the switch to the motor. Could be a disconnected wire (on the simple side), could be the start capacitor. Did you turn the timer on? If you don't the mixer won't run! That is a 220V, don't stick your hands in there when it is plugged in.

Hobart 20 QT. mixer (HL 200) will not operate on a GFCI receptacle.
you need to replace the gfci,the older gfci's interpret these frequencies as a shock hazard and shut off power to the circuit.you can buy @hobart, part#913053, that should solve the trip problem. dont forget to vote thanks monomoy
