After you install the new drive, you need to reconfigure the BIOS so that the cd-rom is the 1st bootable drive. Once you save it, you shouold be able to boot from your Windows disk. Good Luck. C2Solutions
The driver needs to be reloaded. It may still be in the Dell Utilities Program, the Dell Drivers File, or it can be downloaded from Dell's website. Go to Control Panel/System/Hardware Manager and drop down to CD Rom Devices. Right click on your product and click on drivers/update driver. If your device isn't listed there go to install hardware in control panel. You might want to swap the CD rom unit with a known good one. On three occasions I've had the CD Drivers be OK, but the Windows drivers were corrupted. Had to reload the operating system completely to make it all work again.
check you drivers for you audio device might need to be uninstalled and reinstalled. to do this right click on my computer (xp) or computer (os higher thank xp) and go to properties click device manager find sound in the list double left click on it find you device right click uninstall, remove driver click on the icon in the top of the device manager that says scan for new hardware changes when you hover the mouse over it reboot and try.
Since you are recieving this error code you need to do a Pre-Boot System Assesment. Here is the link on the Dell Technical Support Page for this issue.
yo bro i got a couple things that might help try going to your bios and change the hard drive that it should look to to get the right system running, that is if you have tow different hard drives in the pc. o and also make sure that you have everthing plugged in correctly in your pc. if that doesnt work take out the first hard drive that was installed in the first place and put your new hard drive in its place and put in the right wire also.
No bootable device usually means that your hard drive has failed. It is either not connected properly to the computer or the drive needs to be replaced.
