I can listen to my mp3 songs with head phones but they will not play thru the phillips micro Hi-Fi system which has a usb port

Philips hifi systems only support flash memory sticks or MP3 players which show up as flash memory sticks.

Hi,
If does songs are not in mp3 it will not play on your.
Does songs playing on your phone are in mp3 format.
You can convert these songs to mp3 on your system and take it back to your phone and play it. I sure it will play.

There is no problem with the pen drive, there is a problem with the music player.....
if you wanna play the songs on the computer then play it with VLC player...download free player from the following link :

if you wanna play the song in your HI-FI music player or in your Car's music system , then convert them to ".mp3" format..... here is how you can convert to .mp3 format....

Saving music on my micro sd..

The only way the music can be played on a cell phone is if it is in mp3 format. you also have to list the songs individually (they cannot be separated into folders). to listen to the music you should have some sort of music player on the phone that will play the songs.
