You computer's wireless card needs to be configures with the router's wireless settings ie. you need service pack 3 as this sees any connected media that can be accessed from the programmes menu>accesories>system tools or download programme from here to set up xbox/pc streaming.
As for the Trendnet ensure that the pc it fitted to is not set to dial a connection, open IE and then tools>internet options>connections tab and select never dial a connection or it's greyed out.
Then in the properties of your wireless adapter select the TCP/IP line>properties and tick 'obtain an ip address automatically'.
