The playstation 3 was working fine up to about 3 weeks ago no we cannot get it to work on our jvc did we accidently change the settings have tried playstation on other tv works fine
For real try this:
Turn off the tv as well as the ps3 (to where the red ps3 light is on);
Then just hold down the power button in the front for like 15 seconds or so, at least until you hear a beep.
Then turn the Tv back on, and hopefully once you get the tv back on the correct hdmi input, you'll see that little message offering you to switch to optimum settings.
Hope it works. Did for me.
Plug everything out. including tv. then power back on and hold the ps3 power button till you here three beeps. its gonna power down again. then press the power button till you here two beeps. that should do it.
What is the diffrence between the 2 tvs? are you hooking them up using the same connections? if the ps3 is working on one tv then you know it works so its not the ps3 maybe your inputs on the tv have gone bad I would suggest switching inputs to test it out and be sure that on the ps3 you have the right output settings turned on if you have hdmi turned on you will see nothing on your tv, if you are using hdmi and you have component turned on same thing will happen the ps3 should auto connect depending what you are using.

I have all the 3 HDMI setup, ones on an xbox360 the others on PS3 the others on a Yamaha DVD-S1700 it seems that their is no auto connect when any of these are turned on "like the scart does" I have to go through the source sellect one at a time is this right or have i not set up something?
also a remote control coad is needed so i can swhich on my sony AV STR-DB780 by TV remote like i do with the dvd many thanks hope you can help-Nigel

ps3 works fine on samsung le32r but not on samsung le40f which is full hd 1080p, have changed from custom to auto in resolution settings still getting no signal error message on 40" tv any suggestions!!
well, I'm just borrowing a PS3 from a friend of mine.. Connecting it to my TV but no connection made.. I used the same PS3 some hours ago so I know it's working... I dont have any sort of HDMI **** or such.. only regular TV! This should not be a problem! =P I wanna play! =P
is there any special magic to connecting the hdmi cable from the ps3 unit and matching the color coded plug. I have done this but does not communicate
We took our ps3 to a friends house played for hrs unhooked it all went home plugged all back in and it wont connect to my tv it turns on makes all of its normal noises but doesnt seem to connect to the tv can anyone please help.
Ok what do you do if your t.v. is just a blank screen i hear my ps3 starting but it dont know what to do
