My Fossil Blue AM-3662 wristwatch requires repair.

My Fossil Blue AM-3662 wrist watch requires repair. During a battery change, the fine wire coil was damaged, several strands appear to be broken and now of course the watch no longer works. Is it possible/economic to send the watch away for repair? Can anyone suggest a suitable repairer in England? Thank you

Stan Bradshaw

You do not need to send your watch to FOSSIL for repairs. Just find your nearest watch repair shop and ask watchmaker to replace the coil. It will save money as well.

My Abacus Fossil AU4005 110504 wont charge any more, wen i put it on the charger nothing happen,it does not light up any more,do i need a new battery and where do i get it?

I had the same problem but easy fix.
first make sure you put the watch on charger for a few hours first-- the problem is not the battery not taking charge it is the watch that is not turning on probably.
After a few hours on the charger, remove the four screws on the back cover-- WARNING- remove cover carefully. there are two thin copper wires attached to the cover to the charing coil. set the cover aside. remove battery back (unplug tiny connector). WAIT a10 minutes-- this is to discharge any remaining charge that may be held by capacitor in the watch. plug the battery back in. Voila! working now. This is my way of resetting the watch to factory setting. Isn't it almost always work when you remove power to electronic device to reset it?

I have an Abacus wrist net and the battery is dead. Where do I send it to get the battery replaced?

Most watch shops will replace batteries but you might need a Fossil dealer to replace yours, as it might need a special tool.

Try your local dealer first.

If you do need a Fossil dealer, go to "fossil.com"; at the bottom of the screen is a menu which includes "store locator". This will tell you where your nearest store is.

Battery burn out

Take your watch to a REPUTABLE watch repair NOT a jeweler. There should be no problem in changing the battery on your watch.
