Samsung - HL-S5065W Problem The TV is takes about ten minutes tu start working correctly i have to turn it on and off multiple times, meanwhile the tv either the bulb turns on but no image is displayed or the screen is full of green lines

It cold be the power supply is going bad for your TV and that the TV is starting to die on you guys and it would be more cheaper to buy a new TV than to try and repair the old TV that is no longer working anymore.

sounds like your power supply is going south...check the voltage coming out of the wall first

have you ever change your tv lamp?

how old is you TV..

looks like the problem is the tv lamp..

probably a bad (intermittent) control board.

the lamp has a life cicle. if yours is been used a lot. then the lamp has to be changed. when the tv cannot turn on steady and gets off imm. the computer inside the tv tries to turn off the set but the lamp charges again and the micro tends to keep working. the first step to take in this tv is to change the lamp to eliminate this common source of problems

The 3 lights on the tv are there to help you diagnose the problem. There should be Timer, Lamp, and Temp. If all 3 are blinking, the LED may be defective. If standby and temp are blinking, it's a problem w/the cooling fan.

then. if don't use power bar, need to check the power board.

Go to Samsung.com for solution. There is a switch that just needs to be repositioned behind access door on rear. Fixed my HL-S5086W ok.

Hi, I had the same problem on my Samsung.

I removed the rear cover and cleaned the cooling fans, there were (2), it has worked fine ever since.

Be careful of course working with electrical boards.
