How can i find out what region code my PS3 is? Discs from my region do not play and say error region code so i gather it was imported from somewhere else.
Yes you can.. Blu-ray discs are not region coded.. However if you trying to play a DVD or any other format disc then it would not be possible since these are region coded.. However the PS3 games are region free.. can be bought from anywhere and played anywhere..

Most movies are regional coded even blu-ray. The USA code is 1 for dvds and A for Blu-ray. ConsoleSource.com makes mod chips and software for the many game console systems to bypass the regional codes. I have several systems which play multi regional becuase of them or other venders I have found.

Most of the Blu-Ray movies in Australia are region free, just look at the back of the cover.
