I have a logitech harmony 520 remote and it got a slight spill on it, now the screen is blank and nothing works. I even replaced the batteries several times and still nothing. But while connected to my pc it works. I did update the software and the firmware. but when I close the logitech program on the pc the remote says to replace the batteries. But when I disconnect the usb cable from the remote the screen goes blank again and nothing works. But when it's connected to the pc it works. Can anyone help.

Hi, This is a known issue for some Harmony remotes.. the LCD screens go blank after a while. You can try updating the firmware by clicking 'Downloads' at the top of tyhe software, but chances are you will have to contact Logitech. They are really good wne it comes to replacing the remote, and if the remote is out of warranty, they may give you a discount offd a new one.
HI! Here's what to do if your Logitech Harmony remote's LCD screen has gone blank.
1. Remove the battery, press and hold the 'OFF' button, and re-insert the battery. The screen will display 'Safe Mode!', or the 'Activities' button will be lit. 2. Connect your remote to the computer. 3. Launch the Harmony Remote Software, and log in. 4. Click "Downloads" at the top and click "Firmware". 5. The remote will go through the firmware update. 6. Select "Yes", and click NEXT to update the remote. If the screen is still blank after you complete these steps, then it is a hardware issue and you should contact Logitech's wonderful support team, given that the remote is still under warranty.
