Hi... i'm trying to set up my media from my pc to my xbox360... but when I go to the websit to put the code in I don't see where I put the code can you help me?

you only need extender code if you are running windows media centre...if you are not just go to media sharing in windows media player 11(or later)and you will see your xbox listed there as long as you have a router

I cannot find where to enter my code for media sharing with my pc on the xbox website, can you solve this?

There are 2 ways of media sharing.

On your pc, just open up Windows Media Player, Must be 11+ then just go into media sharing and add library. There should be your xbox360, and allow it to share media.

Second way is, media sharing using windows media center and for that you can always visit: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/pcsetup/alldownloads.htm
and chose your OS and go from there.

My xbox 360 cant get a valid ip adress from my router to ad an extender to share media with my pc.And my internet connection is fine.

You dont need an internet connection to add an extender, but also if you are doing the xbox live network test, make sure you turn on INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING otherwise you will not connect, run a pc - xbox , then media connection test, etc, also make sure you have the media centre open on your computer also. Good Luck.

I cant hook up my xbox360 to my computer

You need to have a router in the middle. You cannot hook the computer and the 360 up directly to each other. You plug the 360 into the router and also the PC into the router. Then you run the network tests on teh 360. To get the 360 to play any files (music/movies) on your computer, open Windows Media Player and in options go to teh sharing tab and add to library.

Media sharing WMP11 networking.

Your settings on your PC may not be set to allow sharing to your 360. The way I do it, is I download windows media player 11, imported my itunes library and my movies I had on my PC and allowed sharing via media player. These steps can be seen in more detail by going to www.xbox.com/pcsetup
