Videos start and stop

Have you tried installing the youtube app and trying it?

Hi,

This problem, i.e, the videos keep stopping and starting is usually due to a slow internet connection.

To resolve this issue, kindly let the video download completely before playing the video.

To do this, click the "Pause" button (shown by red arrow in the attached image) on the video bar and let the pink colored bar (shown by green arrow) fill up entirely.



When the pink bar fills up completely, click the "Play" button. Now the video playback will be smooth and without any breaks.

To enjoy YT videos you need a high speed internet like broadband or DSL.

Dial up and other low speed are for other surfing task on the web.

You need to upgrade your internet connection. If you think your connection is good enough try to refrain from downloading large files from the internet while watching videos in YouTube.

There can be various reasons for this. One of the most common is not having a fast enough internet speed. In addition, you may not have the correct streaming software installed. I'm sorry, but thei question is nearly impossible to answer without additional information. If you are able, please post a followup. We will try and help you further. A few questions to answer: Did your computer play videos from youtube previously? If so, what did you do or install (or remove) between then and now that may have made a difference. Also, if you have previously used youtube with no problems, did you switch internet connections or service providers recently? Also, can you play other videos from the web, like flash advertisements, or videos from say, MTV web site or a news web site/ You seem to be saying you just cant watch youtube videos, though you may mean all videos...

Write back with clarification, or try and troubleshoot your problem first with some of the above suggestions.

Ill explain whats happening
as you watch the videos, they are downloading and buffering

now, on you your question, why is there a whilte thing and start stop when watching videos?
the video is not downloading fast enough, this may be due to too many other programs running, or something else is downloading when your trying to watch these videos
