Groovelab installation I bought groovelab from an Apple retailler. Unfortunately it wasmissing it's installation manual. I have installed it, but perhaps notcorrectly. As when I try to go into the groovelab on the systemspreferences menu, this message appears: "You cannot open M-Audio Transit USB preferences because it doesn't work on an Intel-based Mac." Please advise...

Rhapsody will not work on an iPhone unless you jailbreak (which is not advisable). Apple wants you to use iPhone. You can use music you bought from Rhapsody and import it to your iTunes and then sync. I used to work for Apple Tech Support.
Power issues
After ruling out display issues, and if your computer won't turn on, try each of these steps.
Verify you have a good connection from your Mac to the wall outlet by confirming the power cord and adapter are securely connected and plugged in. To check if the wall outlet is working, plug in a lamp or other electrical device
If the wall outlet is working and you continue to have no power, try another power cord or adapter if available. If it works you may need a replacement cord or adapter. If you're using a Mac notebook, see Apple Portables: Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters for further troubleshooting with MagSafe adapters.
Disconnect all accessories that are plugged in to your computer. This includes things like printers, USB hubs, or mobile devices.
Hold down the power button for ten seconds. Then, press the power button again to see if the computer turns on.
If you recently installed memory or a drive in your Mac, make sure it's compatible, supported, and installed correctly. If possible, reinstall the original memory or drive to see if the issue persists afterwards.
You can't. You need the installation disk or a retail OS installation disk to perform this task. Full instructions can be found at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1274
To restore an iBook G3 to factory settings you need the installation CDs that came with the iBook. Ask your friend to find them. Sometimes you can purchase replacement sets on eBay, but they have to be for your exact model. Please realize that the original installation CDs that came with this iBook will contain OS 9, not OS X, so I question whether you really want to restore this machine "to factory settings." What you may choose to do instead is a "clean install" from a more recent retail OS X CD or DVD.
There are several reasons why you could be having this problem. You first need to know a little about the various "flavors" of Apple computers and operating systems.
There are two brands of processors: PowerPC (this is what you have) and Intel (what Apple switched to after your model).
There are also different types of system install disks: Specific Version (this is what would have came with the iMac originally and contains only the drivers for that model). Retail Version contains drivers and "Universal" processor code for all of the supported models and both types of processors.
Intel Macs format their drives differently than PowerPC macs. So, if the used drive was formatted for Intel you wouldn't be able to mount it, if the install disk that was used was Specific Model type rather than Retail type when the system was installed on your used disk, you wouldn't be able to mount it either.
The drive you have must be formatted for PowerPC and system installed from either the Specific Version or Retail install disc in order for you to mount it.
