Hi
my Indesit Moon does not seem to be spinning properly. At the end of the cycle, the sheet and duvet cover i'd washed were still very wet. As I'm sure you know, there isn't a separate spin cycle on this type of machine (it's major design flaw as far as I'm concerned) so there is no way of spinning it a second time. Is this a common problem, and can anything be done about it? thanks in advance.
SOURCE: I need to replace the seal round the door but cannot remove the old one
Take the top panel off by removing the two screws underneath the lid at the rear and look down inside towards the front door edge of the drum you will see a very large metal hose clips holds the door seal on. A screwdriver will loosen the clip then the clip will slip off and then the seal can be removed and replaced

when i purchased this machine i too had problems with machine getting stuck in cycles (mainly the 60deg)for hours and black marks apprearing on seal. when i looked into it i was told to check the height of the outlet hose. mine was too low down the pipe which causes the machine to cyphon. water is going out of the machine as soon as it is put in. this machine has an automatic rinse feature which will keep rinsing until all detergent has been removed from clothes. if the water is going straight out then the machine cannot rinse so tries to fill again (neverending cycle. also meant that i could not successfully wash on 60deg. bacteria thrives in lower tempretures hence the black mould on seal. after adjusting the outlep pipe the machine has worked like a dream. i also do a service wash once a month. run machine on hottest wash with no clothes in using bio powder. this cleans out the machine and kills any lingering bacteria. it has to be done with powder though because it contains bleaching agents. no smells now. hope this helps all those having problems.
