Here is my advice : Just go to www.microsoft.com and download internet explorer again and install it , then reboot your system . I'm sure that this will solve the problem . any way , why don't you try other internet communication softwares like ( firefox or google chrome) those both are great also . I advice you to have more than one internet communication software . I already have three just in case if one of them is corrupted . I have ( Internet explorer and firefox and google chrome ) . just try the idea and you'll be satisfied with the result .
good luck .

SOURCE: Webpage error details

Hello there julie_b46.

Here's your geek-steer ...

What you have there are WEB-PAGE formatting/coding errors.

They are not YOUR errors, per se. Those are very common errors primarily of concern to the web-page author (webmaster), not you as a visitor.

You can disregard them unless you have some inherent or special interest/need otherwise.

Good luck, and please do post back ...

  • to let me (and interested others) know how things worked out,
  • to provide clarification or feedback,
  • if you have ANY further questions.

I have a facebook problem where the webpage doesnt open . It says error on page.

Proposed solution: uninstall Google Chrome Frame
I discovered the pb yesterday, trying to connect to Facebook on my XP SP3 Win32 desktop that runs fine, but on which I rarely connect to Facebook, so that I don't know for how long the problem has been here (days, weeks, but no more)
I struggled in various forums to find hints others than "use Chrome or Firefox" etc...
I finally found the solution hidden in:
http://blog.crosbydrive.com/?p=310
After uninstalling Google Chrome Frame, I just had to quit IE and launch it again.
Many thanks to "Lexington Computer Repair Blog " and Sue W (who hold the solution from a Facebook forum)

It looks to me like something was coded wrong in a Facebook app. It could be an error which is passed over on other browsers, but the coder of the app trying to use a variable "big_pipe" made a mistake somehwere.
