My sons lightning mcqueen tv/dvd combo wont play disney pixar dvds I dont know why can anyone help

    i'd love to get the part number for the relay cause mine does not work either. This tv is the worst investment for a kids' room, especially since everyone has the same problems with this unit.

    i have just been on the phone to argos they can only refund me money within 7 days because the dont have any other lightning mcqueen tv's it has been working for a few days since he got it at xmas but today it wont play any dvd :(

    I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.. THE LIGHNING MCQUEEN TV WILL CUT OFF AFTER ABOUT 5 SECONDS... DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT COULD BE WRONG OR HOW TO FIX IT? I ALSO CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO TAKE IT APART....

    I have found a relay inside inline with the power button that is heating up causing my tv too shutoff within 5 seconds.When i receive the new part and install it and it corrects the problem i will post the part # and the results.

I have the same problem it wont play any DVD and if it does they stop playing shortly after !!!!!

go to settings for playback/ video and check to see if it is NTSC or pal.whatever it is switch it to the othe and the colour display should then be correct.europe is pal. America is NTSC.

Your going to want to go into the menu of the tv and look for the setting brightness to brighten it up a little.

I called the custoner service number 1-866-387-1902 & the parental lock code is 1369. I had the same problem and this worked for me. Good luck. This parental code is for all disney tv, dvd combos.
