Manual for a Honeywell K4392V2 M6983 RevB to solve ''BAT'' display

I am trying to figure out why I have a BAT on the display of my keypad. I have changed out the battery down at the panel. I have a ADT board I think, # SAS20ADT-1, E2 Programming, S1632, K4043 were some of the numbers I pulled along with SA20 ADT N and W96388. I was trying to look for documentation for anything. I was hoping for a direct web link because when I go out to the Honeywell site they have nothing. This has been a problem that has plagued me for over a year. Alarm works fine but I guess my home is unprotected if I were to have a power outage. There is a fuse on the control board but it looks fine. Maybe there is a way to test that. Or with a multimeter is there a way to test the leads? I am not sure the board is charging the battery. Is there a way to check? Thank-you in advance.

Check to see if you have a wireless remote that requires a battery, mine when bad and it was the wireless remote to turn on and off from outside.

Honeywell quietcare humidifier won't turn on

I am surprised that this answer isn't found anywhere, including in the manual from Kaz. If yours is the same version as mine, and your lights aren't even lighting up on top, most likely your float may have gotten bound up with gunk (the float rises up when the pan is full enough of water, which enables the motor to run. It is held into place by a plastic bracket with two phillips head screws, and looks a bit like a plastic bottle with a narrow neck in a small rectangular shape (not open at top). Remove the screws and the bracket, and take out the float and clean it and the reservoir (in the base) it sits in. Reinstall, and the float should move freely. Problem solved!

I have a Honeywell Chronotherm III Thermostat and in instead of showing the temparature in the display it shows -AC. I've replaced the batteries, and tryied adjusting Temp up and down for cooling and...

It would appear to me that you have lost the 24 volt power supply to the thermostat. In referencing the manuals for this thermostat, available @ www.honeywell.com, I've found that when the thermostat is not connected to the wall plate (plate mounted on the wall, that the thermostat either snaps or screws into), it will display the -AC. This being said, either the thermostat is loose on the wall currently, or your 24 volt transformer has died. Hope this helps.

Humidistat problems

The ability of the humidifier to maintain a given moisture content in the air is far more difficult than a heat or cooling unit to heat or cool the air.

Moisture vapor has far more energy to seek dryer air, than tempered air. So the moisture seeks and finds dryer air quickly, whether it be through stair and door ways, or through cracks and seams in walls and doors/windows, or through non vapor barrier surfaces.

The only way the unit would be able to achieve a humidity level as stated, is for the unit to be placed in a vapor-tite room that has a minimal of leakage.

You could put more humidifiers in the space, or more and larger humidifiers in the space, to try and overcome the vapor moving to other areas of the space. But unless you have a fairly vaportite space, it is unlikely the unit is under capacity, and the only way to test what capacity is needed is to take humidity measurements.
