Mitsubishi TS-5545 HELP. Not a new problem, but is there a way to get a schematic of the circuit boards, etc? Same thing as others, turning off, but sound still on and also the convergence is off, the blue will only adjust up and down, not side to side. [email protected]. Thanks for any help.

as old as the set is it is most likely broken or bad solder connections on the circuit boards inside the set....

Yes,the convergence problems it the cause,but also now could be have addtion some other problems too it.But change the 2 STK convergence ICS and all the resistors to it, fix the convergence board first see what happen.

A couple of things:
1) Either a bad power supply or a flyback 'supplies the high voltage to the 3 CRT's' .
2) The HOT 'High Output Transistor' is gone bad or the leads 'solder joints' have cracked and are not making a good connection.
time to get it into the shop or have a tech come to your residence to look at it.
Good possibility of getting it fixed.

You need a professional.
Stop using the TV until it is repaired.
Continue to use it and your problems will multiply and grow more expensive.

Are you able to view the TV's onscreen display menu?  If not, you have a problem with a video board and service is required.  If the menu does appear, you will have to check the cable/wire connection and make sure it is snug and in the correct location.

That is a VZ3 chassis, similar to Mitsubishi models Ts-4545, Ts-5045, Ts-5545, Vs-4543, Vs-4544, Vs-5043, Vs-5044, Vs-5047, Vs-6043, Vs-6047 and has common failures in the vertical circuit, specifically vert Ic401 which is a La7845 which is usually caused by defective C402 100uf 50v and/or open 1.2 ohm 2 watt R510 next to FBT.
If not that check C268 off Q215 on signal board 22mf/50v and Ic200 on signal module Cxa2025s. However the vertical failure is more likely.

Try pushing in input and menu together and holding them in on the set for 5 seconds to se if the led blinks a code. hen let me know what the light blinks if anything.
