Flashing icon I have a flashing icon, white hand, palm forward, on a red background, which I am unable to eliminate. I can find no reference to this icon in the guide. The icon appears on the screen in the upper right hand corner, second icon in. please advise.

Go to the menu in the shooting (auto) mode; Find the BSS (Best Shot Selector) mode and turn it off. This should work.

That flashing hand icon is because you're currently using "no flash." Just change the setting back to "auto" (flash) and the hand will disappear.

Low shutter speed icon means that when you take photo the image will be blurry if camera moved.

Is there this icon when flashlight is turned on?

I want to use this motor on another device and have it reverse. How do I hook up the 4 wires (black, red, white, yellow) to a forward/off/reverse switch?

don`t quote me on this but i would think that it would be a 2 speed
motor and you stated that it was an ac and not a dc so i would think
that it`s not reverceable .

What will i do if my camera is shooting in ligth my shot is white picture,

Hi rodalynnedel,

If there is more light in the background making the picture white then you need to turn off the focus of your camera or choose an auto focus mode , which will stop your camera's focus depending on the light in the background.

So I would suggest you you to switch off the flash and then check if it works fine for you.

When you have to turn of the flash you press the flash button with an arrow mark on camera and then select the icon which has a cross vertical line on the arrow , that is the mode which switches off the focus.

Hope this helps ....:) Let me know in case you have any queries, your feedback would be appreciated.

How do i turn on the flash?

On the menu there should be an icon that looks like a yellow lightning bolt with a red circle around it and a red line thru it (this means that the flash is off)....in the lower right hand corner you should see a white lightning bolt. Tap the red circle 2 times and you should notice that the yellow lightning bolt now stands alone and the red circle and the red line has been removed (now your flash is on). Note: Each time you turn on the camera and you need flash, you will have to make this adjustment...I hadn't figured out a way so that it happens automatically..

THANKS.

Best settings to photo jewelry upclose for sale on internet

The best setting really depends on the type of pictures you want. Do you want a white background and a completely focused picture or do you want a natural background and more artistic type of picture? The latter is easier to produce as it can be done with a soft hand-held flash and almost any kind of natural lighting conditions and you can put it on a surface according to what you want to get - reflection, colors, shadows and what not. Getting a white background takes more lighting effort and way more Photoshop to cut the item from the background. See the picture of the same rings, different style of photography. best-settings-photo-jewelry-upclose-sale-1g5wszphrhgg2c1q13o1qzmn-4-0.jpg

Trouble syncronizing palm TX

If you look on your handheld, tap the Hotsync icon once.
This will tell you the last time your Palm was synced.

Also if you hold your mouse over the Hotsync icon on your computer in the bottom right hand corner, this will tell you a last Hot sync date.

See if the two dates/times match up.

You can do a search on your computer for a "hotsynclog" file, this will give you a detailed list of all the processes that occurred during your sync. I would see if there are any errors listed there.

Also, you may want to make sure the Palm names match up with what you have on your Palm and the computer. When you click Hotsync on the Palm once, a name should appear in the upper right-hand corner. This name should also appear in the upper right-hand side when you upen Palm Desktop. There will be a white box with a name showing and an arrow pointing downwards. Make sure the two are the same as well and see if your information appears then.
