Channels Channel 1 (left hand deck) only plays in the left speaker and vica versa for channel 2 (right deck) why? I know its not the mixer as i pluged my deck straight into my amp and the same thing happens. Thanks. [email protected]

Normally the left channel IS ONLY on one speaker, the right channel is on the OTHER. Give us some more info, please ?

Red for Right channel (play). White for Left Channel (play). Yellow for right (Record) Black left (record). The leads should run from tape (out) play to amp in play. Same for the left channel.
Record from tape (in) to Amp (out).

Does the left meter do the same thing? If the meter matches the right one, I would suspect the volume potentiometer on the powered speaker. Try exercising the volume knob. There might be some oxidizing on the potentiometer.

Determine where in the mixer's signal path to connect the unit. Your options are:
1. One or two individual microphone channels via the mixer's CHANNEL INSERT in/out jacks.
2. The monitor mix output via the mixer's MONITOR OUT jacks.
3. The main mix output via the mixer's MAIN OUT jacks.

2 Connect a balanced cable with the appropriate connectors from CHANNEL INSERT OUT jacks on the desired mixer channel to INPUT RIGHT or LEFT on the Feedback Destroyer's back panel for individual microphone channels. Connect a balanced cable with the appropriate connectors from the OUTPUT RIGHT or LEFT jacks on the Feedback Destroyer's back panel to that mixer channel's CHANNEL INSERT IN jack.

3 Connect a balanced cable with the appropriate connectors from the mixer's MONITOR OUT jacks to the INPUT RIGHT or LEFT jacks on the Feedback Destroyer's back panel for the monitor signal path. Connect a balanced cable with the appropriate connectors from the OUTPUT RIGHT or LEFT jacks on the Feedback Destroyer's back panel to the monitor amplifier INPUT jack or amplified monitor speaker INPUT jacks.

4 Connect a balanced cable with the appropriate connectors from the mixer's MAIN OUT jacks to the INPUT RIGHT or LEFT jacks on the Feedback Destroyer's back panel for the main mix (FOH) signal path. Connect a balanced cable with the appropriate connectors from the OUTPUT RIGHT or LEFT jacks on the Feedback Destroyer's back panel to the main amplifier INPUT jack or amplified house speaker INPUT jacks.

I assume english is not your first language, but I think I understand you.

Right first thing is, yes it is marked. You connect the MAIN/Master outputs marked L and R to your amplifier. The tape input is marked L & R too. The stereo channels will be mark L and R but the numbered channels are mono and as we all learnt in our first mixer lesson, to make a stereo you plug left into channel one and right into channel two then pan channel 1 hard left and channel 2 hard right.
If you use a mono source such as a microphone and you want it to come out of both speakers, put the pan control in the center.

If it works on Channel One it is NOT the TT. It's a mixer problem. Define the mixer and what else works or doen't work. have you tried another device on Channel 2?

Clearly there IS a setup issue. Take serrato out of the loop for the moment and the mixer. Plug each deck (one at a time) into a hifi with a MM Phono input. Are you getting stereo? If yes, you know the decks are ok. Now reset the mixer completey. All eqs and pans including volumes to 12 o clock position and volumes to 0.
Make sure you connect deck one to a red and white of one phono input channel. Do not use 1 channel from phono and 1 from line. Use both left and right of the phono chanels.
Ok, now hook up the mixer to the amp. Keep the x-fader on channel 1 and concentrate getting a good stereo signal from this one chanel. Now do the same for the other cahnnel.

This should hae helped you to get up an running, if not narrow down the problem.

You should be connecting this product to a dj mixer because this unit has no internal mixer.To accomplish this you should connect the two outputs lines for channel 1 from this cd player to the two input lines on channel 1 of your mixer and the same for channel two, connect channel two from your cd player to the channel two input on your mixer and then hook your mixer to a amplifier, then amplifier to speakers.
