I have a mitsubishi vs 60607 it will come on and everything seems to be working fine, however after about 30-45 minutes of watching tv it will shut itself off. what can i do to fix this problem?

These units have had issues with the Yoke plug connections on the Yokes being intermitent. I would advise only a professional to check it out.

Check for any bad solder on the mainboard of the TV, and also check for any burn fuse on the powersupply area... BAd solder was very common problem on Mitsubishi TV..
I usually find that symptom you describe is caused by cracked solder joints on the power regulators or vertical output IC. I have also seen that symptom caused by loose solder joints on the vertical windings up inside one of the yokes. If you have experience in repairing TV's then you can disassemble the set and pull the main chassis, flip it over and resolder all of the parts mounted on heat sinks. If you do not have experience in repairing projection TV's then allow a qualified tech to handle it for you.
