Check your user's guide and find out where the needle should be. Next, check the stitch length, and width. If you have a machine capable of creating many stitches, you may have the wrong presser foot attached. If all else fails you can contact the manufacturer through their web site or by a telephone number that is in your user's manual or online.
If, you go to www.sewusa.com they offer free threading diagrams. Your particular model is not shown but they have a 404 which is very similar to yours and I am sure it will help you. Also, if you need a manual you can go to www.sewingpartsonline.com and buy one for $14.99. Good luck and happy sewing. It is making a comeback big time.
